I might be mistaken, but I think Porsche referred to all aluminum wheels as "light alloy wheels". I seem to remember them referred to in this manner in my '76 Tech Spec booklet.
I think "light alloy" in this case means aluminum alloy.
I've been wrong before though... :>)
