Car won't start...troubleshooting help needed

Guys, I know my car has some serious vacuum leaks but it's been running okay since I tweaked the mixture. I was out running an errand the other day and got close to the last few drops of fuel when the car stuttered a bit and died. I thought I'd run out of fuel but she started back up and I was able to fill up and get home no problem. I did notice thought that there was more hesitation if I quickly blipped the throttle (no response, chocking symptom for a split second). Anyway, parked the car and the next day she will crank like crazy but won't start. I was about to drop the engine to fix all my vacuum leaks, but would like to verify my fuel pressures. Now I can't do that since I don't have a running car. Should I at least check the full pump side pressure? I will verify spark today but I doubt that's the issue since I has an MSD installed a year ago.
So, my question is...what do I do next? My first instinct is to drop the engine (assuming I verify good spark), fix all my vacuum leaks, get a new fuel filter, check the accumulator, put the engine back in and go from there. I also suspect that my WUR is acting up...if Tony is listening, can I send it to you to get checked out?
Thoughts appreciated guys, thanks.
