VW as a group, maybe (if they were not embroiled in diesel scandal & making payments), but Porsche ? If I were them I'd stick with an engine, just that part is not that easy, ask Honda !

What he said, Porsche is all about making money (nothing wrong with a company wanting to make money) so why would they drop the huge chunk of change for a F1 team? Plus they are a mainstream auto company and don't need the street cred of a racing team. Bring on the Porsche Mini Van and pickup truck!
