I was having all kinds of problems with mine not feeling right and getting stuck in the down position. I adjusted it a million times. I tried it without the C spring and it was to hard and then without the sping under the floor board, wow just right, works better than ever and has just the right feel. I hear it is hell to get the spring back on, be aware.
