At idle, it's not really noticeable that it's rich.
Regarding the turbo, it is definitely more progressive, and it gives more shove earlier in the rev range. It doesn't go insane like the old turbo, which was kind of like a light switch.
In terms of top-end power it seems to be on par with the 7006, which is excellent for a 7200 based turbo. I am a little bit surprised that I have that much fuel in reserve though. I was expecting more top-end power than I'm getting.
Will have to talk to the turbo builder to see if my expectations were too optimistic. If 450 HP is the theoretical limit for Porsche 930 CIS system, I am not approaching that number. That is kind of disappointing.
