Guys,
Thanks a bunch. Pulled the ground wire from the Battery, cleaned and sprayed 'Wire Dry" on both ends, then (this car has two grounds one from the batt to the firewall, then from the other side of the firewall to the engine) cleaned the other firewall connection and sprayed it (required unplugging both flywheel sensors). I couldn't get to the engine connection without disconnecting a heater hose, Sooo ... under the car and did the same routine with all the starter connections (not alot of play in the wires, but got the crud off). So far no prob, car starts every time. Hooyah!
