Some places are selling the Phillips HID conversion kits for the mid $400s.
They won't work as good as a real and complete HID system. You stick the bulbs into a regular H4 lens. Problem is that the reflector on the lens wasn't designed for an arc capsule so the light beam isn't as it was designed.
Plus you won't have a high beam and of course there is no self leveling system like the good european HID so the odds of getting stopped by cops for illegal lights goes up. I would save my money and get a true total HID system.
