Well, you need to do a search on those two words -- you'll get a lot of opinion. It might depend on whether you race or just tour.

I have a simple tie bar in my '73 -- it leaves room for luggage and is in pretty colors. My other car (a '75) has the Stable Energies bar -- it is heavier and blocks the luggage space but makes it easier to set the alignment. I've driven both cars extensively on the same twisty & bumpy road within minutes of each other. I cannot relate any differences in handling to the strut braces -- the cars have different tbars, shocks etc., and that makes the difference. So that may mean there is not much difference in various strut bars.
