I am a 911 newbie, got my 1st Porsche ever, last summer, a 78 911 SC Japanese spec car, and I am really pleased with it. I would also like to say THANKS to our host and all the posters here... I have used this forum extensively already to solve all kinds of issues... fantastic.
A question: I have a switch opening in the dash between the fresh air controls and the steering column. The hole in the dash looks very stock but the PO had used this space to mount an aftermarket toggle switch to control the power antenna. The question: Is this hole a stock opening? And if so, what was the intended use of this switch?
