I have repaced my master cylinder on my 951 at 60,000 miles about 2 years ago, it has 68,000 now. Same for my na944 about a year ago at 190,000 miles, has 202,000 now. Iboth have the original slave cylinder and have had no more problems. A lot seem to have had the slave go out right after but not here. It is not too bad doing the job just tight there and hard to start the nuts back on and you need a friend to help.
