Factory hardtop for conv - cost?
Just wondering if anyone has bought second hand, either from the dealer or from a private party, a Hardtop for winter use for their BMW convertable.
I was wondering what the market was for these things. Thanks! Chuck

They look great on the cars you can order them color matched. New they run about 3k. If you happen to find a used one you will have to go to the dealer and by a install kit. ther is a one time install that has to be done to rewire fro the brake lite and the rear window defogger and the rollover bars, done correctly they these are problem free.

Jav,
Isnt there also an optional hardtop carrier that screws into the roof of your garage that lifts the top off when not in use? |

That is correct, you can also opt for the rack on wheels if you don't want it hanging around you can roll it around.
