Question reset service interval odometer

Hi all: Anyone have any idea how to reset the service interval odometer on a 2001 325ci? I know there must be a "secret" code somewhere in the computer on this car, but how to access it is a mystery to me. TIA, Al

Reset info

Here is what I've got, and worked on my 325CI :

Ign Key Off:
Press and hold odometer reset button
While holding button, turn key to Pos 1 (accessories)
Keep button pressed for 5 sec and words "Oil Service or Inspections" along
with word "reset" or "RE" will appear.
Release button and press again for 5 seconds and words "reset" or "RE" will flash.
Release button again and display will flash.
While flashing, press button briefly and it is reset.

....This worked for me, and instructions came off of a MAC tool computer. Let me know if it works for yours.

RACER84 I finally got to using your reset procedure and it worked as you described, as a matter of fact it also worked on my buddy's '02 Mini S, I guess the BMW engineers used the same algorithm for both computers. Thanks for the info, sorry for the late response. Coconut 321
