Differential Fluid Change
I am going to do a Diff. fluid change (tranny too) on my '04 325i. Do the drain plugs on the differential have washers on them?
Thanks....

I can't remember if the E46 has clearance issues getting to the drain plug like the E36. If it does not just any hex socket will work. I think it is 14mm but I'm not sure.
Pull the fill plug first. 1 to make sure you can get fluid back in 2 to check level 3 it lets air in so the fluid drains without splattering
