Cockpit Indicator Light Malfunction
I have 2003 330i. In the driver console, my headlight or talelight bulb blown warning lights illuminate periodically. Usually, happens after the car is warmed up and is restarted. Neither have blown bulbs. I also, today for the first time, noticed the fast blinker when turning on the leftside blinker and talelight blown indicator illuminated. Turning off the car and restarting corrected both. Some switch or relay is kaput? Anyone know what's up?

I've had this happen more than once. Check the bulb connections. Pull the bulbs and make sure the tabs are contacting them securely. You can put some dielectric grease on the connections.
I've heard reports of problems mixing aftermarket bulbs with the OEM ones but as long as you are buying descent quality bulbs I would not consider this an issue.

Jeron...I'll give it a try….Thanks! It's (330i) still under warranty and I was going to take it in to make sure it wasn't a relay or whatever on June 12th. I just did have to replace the alternator at the BMW dealer while in Boise on a Family emergency for my Dad. But, the taillight warning indicator problem persists. Incidentally, the corrective action you recommended, I've had to do on my 88 911 before.
