BMW 3 Series Control Arms

Hello,

I am an owner of a 2001 325. I have had "one side" of the front end control arms replaced and need the other side done. When the car was up on the lift, the mechanic showed me how the wheels "wobble" back and forth. When I break, the car shakes as though their is a problem with the brakes. Could there be other problems to the front end that would cause this type of problem.

It could just be the brakes. But it could be bad control arm or steering arm. Usually the arms are replaced in pairs.
