How to remove the Viscous fan

hello, Can anybody tell me how to remove a viscous fan (which is left hand thread) please.

Pelican sells a special tool with their cooling system kit. That might be what is needed. I don't recall whether I have ever had mine off.

I cant remember the size but it is fairly large. You can use open end of a box/open wrench then loop another box/open wrench inside the first to make a long breaker.

You can also buy the "special" tool at a bicycle shop it is a standard bicycle size.
