ground clearance 325

We live in Thailand and own a BMW 325i year 2000. I love the car but a major drawback for its use on many of the roads in our area is the low ground clearance. Can you recommend a way to increase this (a couple of inches?) without significantly affecting safety? Erik.

If you can find longer springs you could probably go an inch at most.

You can get taller tires but be careful about tire clearance especially on the inside shoulder of the front where it will hit the lower spring stay.

Anything you do will effect handling.
