Toasted Engine

1999 328i (E46): So my daughter hit a deer, then when driving home the car ran hot, which she then immed shut it down, then had it towed home. Replaced all the damaged parts due to the deer (Radiator, Hood, Headlight, then while doing so I just flushed the cooling system, replaced all hoses, belts, VC gasket plugs etc). Engine temp remains normal, but loosing coolant, it appears from the cap (new), as there is a small amount of coolant on the top of the expansion tank. When I remove the Rad cap in the morning (engine stone cold sitting for approx 8hrs) after being driven the day/night before, there is still pressure in the cooling system. I am wondering if this is possibly from compression, indicating warped head, block, or just bad HG.
