fan noise when ac is on
Hi, I have a 2006 BMW 325i. When I turn the AC on the cooling fan turns on too and oscillates at a high speed causing a pretty loud noise. Is that normal? I don't see a co-relation between AC and cooling fan.

The electric fan will always come on when the AC is on. It should just be a mild whirring sound, however. If you cannot see the cause of the noise (foreign object in fan, broken brace arm, etc.) then it is probably time for a trip to the junk yard for a different fan.

I think you should replace the fan and that will be the best solution for this.
