I have a 2004 bmw. 325xi .It only runs rough when it is warmed up and I am accelerating. Starts fine and runs well for the first 5 minutes. It shakes and hesitates after that . No codes detected. I am thinking it is a camshaft sensor. Which one is it likely to be given the symptoms. Intake or exhaust camshaft sensor. Iv'e tried all the other options. Maf,plugs, etc

Most of the time you will get a fault for the cam sensor. In my experience, the exhaust sensor fails more often. A good check is to see if there is oil inside the electrical connector. If there is it is going bad very soon. I'd make absolutely sure that the intake system is tight no leaks, and that your fuel pressure is in spec. Fuel pressure should be approximately 50 psi or 3.5 bar.
