Hi there i have a 2008 318I N46, I have Just had it for its first MOT and the Lambda reading were too high, run a diagnostic check on ECU and also read through the live data and nothing has shown up!!. As a matter of course I have changed Bank 1 pre cat sensor with a new one and the Lambda reading is still high but not as high as before.....
anyone with any ideas please?

You could have a faulty bank 2 sensor. If the lambda is high, it is possible that it is due to a skewed air fuel ratio sensor.

I'm not sure if the UK uses emission moniors in the DME like we do in the US. If not, this may be why there is no fault code.
