Just put in a brand new water pump but can't get the bleed procedure to start. I followed the steps to start the bleeding but nothing happens. Would a bad tstat stop the car from running the bleeding procedure? I've even replaced the 40a fuse. Would I need to replace the electrical connections? If so,what would the part number be?

I also replaced thermostat and water pump on my 2008 e90 with the n52 engine. I’ve got the pump to bleed 5 times and still have no heat. I felt the lines going from radiator into heater core are not getting hot so does anyone have a answer to why that is? My car also does not have a heater control valve.
