control deviation error 01/ e39 tds

Hello all.
I fitted an e39 tds engine into a 1967 mk2 jaguar. To cut a long story short. I replaced the original Auto ECU with a one from a manual car as my ECU went into limp mode after being fitted with a manual box. Thats not my issue. In limp mode it would struggle to get up to 40mph with lots of noise but no boost. As soon as the manual ECU was fitted it went like a rocket. So much it smoked my new LUK clutch. 2 days later its lost all of its power and again struggles to get up to 40 MPH. Its giving a fault code 01 Control deviation. I have looked all over the web and no one seems to know what it means and how to fix it. Theres even a an ecu Guru over here in the UK and its even got him stumped. Any ideas before it goes into the local BMW dealer who will no doubt charge me thousands.
