Help!! - 2001 530i Blower Motor Quit
Hottest day of the year and the blower motor for the AC/Heat system on my wife's 530i decides to stop working.
Blower does not work for AC or defrost. The indicator light on the system indicates the motor should be going full blast, no blower. I tried to check the fuse for the blower but I cannot locate #76 fuse. Anyone have any ideas??

Most likely its ur final stage resistor-->very easy to replace..pull ur panels below glovebox and look to left & back of side panel. The new one looks different then the old style but looks the same where it plugs in-->push tab down & pull out....also look in trunk on right
side where battery is there are more fuses there!!

Interestingly...My wife tells me that the blower started to work again. It seems to have a mind of its own. Somewhere I though I read that this is the sign of a failing final stage resistor.
Any comments?
