Stalling on de-accelerartion!
The car is a 1990 E34 M5.
Just replaced the dizzy, rotor and new spark plugs. Now when I come off the accelerator and push the clutch in, the engine dies. It runs better and is very smooth when running. Idles a bit rough. Thoughts??

Idle control valve, maybe.

Thats what a few have said. I have taken it off and given it a good clean but have not checked it electrically. Might get a replacement to save later on.

Did the problem change at all after you cleaned it?

No but I disconnected it later on and it ran perfectly. Reconnected and it went back to problems. I am going to get a new one and see,
