Where did the threads go??

Something is up with the thread count??

BMW Technical Forums page shows 4,856 Posts on 1,291 Threads for the BMW 5-Series E28/E34/E39 forum; but when I go to this specific forum I see 9 Threads.

db issues or something else is getting in the way...

This thread is now the last thread on the list.

There were a bunch of threads the count is now up to 4,867 Posts with 1,296 Threads.

Anyway you can restore the data??

When I need a quick take on previous discussions, I go to the Archives section. Here's what you do:

Scroll to the bottom of the page.
In the blue ribbon on the right, you'll see some links, including "Archive."
Click on the Archive link; then select this forum. This will take you to the section which contains all 1,296 threads.

...I am more interested in casual browising of the threads...like I can do from the main category page for others.

If you look at the other categories you will observe many thread pages for them; these pages can be browsed. This category had been this way until some time just prior to my original post.

It seems that this category has been corrupted (or database does not call them up any more). It appears to drop (from main list) threads posted a little while ago.

Mr. Sys. Administrator/DBA: Why is this not getting fixed for the BMW 5-Series E28/E34/E39 category?? If it can that is.
