2000 BMW 540I 94000 miles smoking
Just bought this car from a Dealer (ford) we put about 40 miles on it the first day.
I got on it put it to the floor and saw a white cloud of smoke. It quickly went down hill started idling rough check engine light came on would smoke heavily when shifting into second (auto). We took it back to the dealer and are waiting. We bought this car about 7pm thursday and had it back at the dealer around 4:30 on friday. Should I let them try and fix it our just walk away? Any ideas of what could be wrong would be great. Thank you. |

Get your money back and walk away. Thats what I would do. I certainly would not let a Ford dealer handle the repairs on something like this.

Well they took it to a BMW dealer finally and it turned out to be the oil seperator. The other problems faulty electric fan and the plugs where fouled from the oil entering the cylinders. Should have it back by the weekend
