Transmission selector position indicator
The dashboard indicator showing the gear lever position on my 530i auto is so faint that it cannot be read, can anyone tell me if this is likely to be a bulb out, and if so, how do I get at it?

Yeah
Hey,
I have a e34, and my odometer is like this. There should be a bulb behind where it shows the gear. Most likely, the bulb is dead and the light that you are seeing is simply from the other bulbs that light up the speedo and tach. I hope this helps.
