Shocks and struts

Looking to replace shocks and struts on my 2006 525xi, how do I know if I have sport or non sport suspension?

Hi Arnie525xi,

Welcome to the forum! The easiest way to tell if you have the sports package or not on your BMW, is to look at the side panels. If they're black, you have the sports package; if they're silver-ish color, that is the standard package. I've also attached a link to our tech articles that'll help you with the replacement of the shocks/struts if you're planning on going the DIY route.

We have tech articles for just about every repair/fix on the E60, so check those out in the future if you need help with anything. Best of luck!
