Brakes
In Changing my brake pads on my 740i, I accidently sliced the rubber boot around the piston in the caliper . I need to know how serious this is, also if I can just replace the boot itself or do I have to get a new caliper?

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET NEW BOOTS IN A CALIPER REBUILD KIT.
IT SHOULD BE REPLACED. |

You will have to get the full rebuild kit and overhaul the caliper. It's not that hard to do.
