M635 igniton update
I have an 85 M635. I am considering updating the fuel/ignition system to something with knock detection capability, such as the Motec ignition system or possibly a later model M5 system.
Anyone out there with some experience on this one? |

I dont think you would get any real benefit from running an aftermarket system. The factory Motronic is pretty hard to beat. Just make sure that your position sensors, O2 sensor, ignition wires and plugs are in good shape.

I have an open loop system, no knock detector and high compression.
