735i Valve noise
 

Valves seem loud, is there a valve adjustment that is done? I haven't dug into Bentley Publishing yet.

I have three of these cars and they usually sound like demented typing pools.This is quite common and not really a problem.It is caused by incorrect valve clearance or worn camshafts.Valve clearance is set by turning discs on the rocker arm.I do it using a tool I made from a wire coat hanger.It is quite easy if a little time consuming.
