iPod Interface doesn't charge

Hi All,

I have a 2006 650 which has had an OEM iPod Interface installed probably around 2008. Trouble is it doesn't charge newer iPods - that Apple thing where they changed the charging pins for iPods around the iPod 3 if I remember correctly.

Is it just a matter of buying a new compatible 'cable' for the iPod Interface or is the whole thing incompatible?
