Muffler Recomendation for a Z3
Hi,
I sold the 911sc and now have a 2000 BMW Z3 roadster with the 2.5 engine. The factory muffler is toooo quite. Can anyone make a recomendation for a muffler that doesn't cost an arm and 2 children. Would a MagnaFlow or Borla fit? thank, in advance.

Our sponsor shows only the stock muffler, so that's probably not what you are looking for. Here's a website with several choices for your car, I'm sure there are lots of options. Try to talk with someone who has used one of these mufflers as it could increase noise but affect performance.
http://www.car-stuff.com/mmparts/bmw-z3/muffler.html If your muffler is still good, some shops can take them apart, rework the baffles inside and produce a better sound and not affect performance. Check your area, you might find a shop that can perform that service. I've had it done on my 993 with great results. Good luck with the project.
