Question Cold-Air intake ?'s

Can anyone help me with info. about cold-air intake for my '93 325i? I'm new to this forum so if this the wrong forum just let me know where I might find this info.

i'm new too, but it seem like the wrong forum. this is induction not intake. but from what i've heard from my friends who mod their cars, a CAI doesn't really even make a difference. You wont feel any more power. Go with a cat back exhaust or new ECU chip. I got a 50 dollar Chip off of ebay and i felt a difference in acceleration. I'm thinking headers are coming next for me.

Your car came with a cold air intake from the factory.

Considering it was designed, built and installed by BMW when the car was new, yes.

I will clarify Forced Induction's answer. The intake already on your car is about as good as it will get.

You wont see any power gains by changing the intake unless you are moving larger amounts of air through the engine (turbo, supercharger, etc..) If you are looking for cheap power, software will probably be the best bang for the buck.
