How many have read the "Ghost Rider" Book?

Have many of you completed the "Ghost Rider" book yet by Neil Peart? Good reading and insightful.

If you don't have it I recommend it.

I'll expand on this a little.

Neil Peart was and is the drummer for the band "Rush"

Although extremely successful with the band and seemingly a man with everything, a few years ago he lost first his only daughter driving to college in a one-car accident, then about a year later his wife died of cancer (or broken heart).
Suddenly all alone and at a loss for what to do he quit the band and left on a solo 40,000 mile journey on his BMW 1100GS through Canada, Alaska, Southwest US, Mexico.

It is 458 pages of insightful motorcycling, travel adventures, and "finding oneself."

There was also an article about him and the book in the February Cycle world magazine.

The book is available at amazon.com for $12 or so.

I read the reviews... someone suggested it should have been titled "Ego Rider."

I'd read it before making that judgement. I've started, and dont' get that at all. On the contrary guy comes across as humble. Maybe a reviewer with an agenda? No, that would never happen with music or book reviews (note dripping sarcasm)

If I believed everything Ebert & Roper wrote about movies I'd miss at least half the good ones. Thinking about it - those two don't even agree!
