As this country hunkers down to beat the Covid-19 coronavirus, Rob Dingman from the AMA offers this advice....
•Avoid crowded spaces: Ride motorcycles. •Do not use public transportation: Ride motorcycles. •Well-ventilated spaces are virus free: Ride motorcycles. •Wear gloves: Ride motorcycles. •Keep at least six feet from other people: Ride motorcycles. •Keep a positive attitude: Ride motorcycles! Sounds like good advice to me!! Stay safe out there!!

I was thinking this would be a good week end to warm the motor up and change the oil. But, where can I get the oil (I've got the filter and plug gaskets)? Well, I figure one year old oil won't be too bad for a while. The AMA does have a great message - stay cautious, stay safe and ride.

About the only problem I can see with this is getting hurt and having to use our already taxed health care system.
I believe that is why cycling is banned in a few European countries now.. Take care guys!

France and Italy are in complete lockdown you even need paperwork to go shopping,we are marginally better than that in the UK but apart from those with certain jobs the rest go out for shopping and one trip a day out of the house for excercise,riding a bike!! do not think we are too far away from getting stopped by police to check if your trip is important.
We currently have two very unhappy golden retrievers who are on one walk day  The plus side so far have painted 2 garden sheds,changed oil on 3 bikes and de-catted and removed the lamba’s on a KTMGT.

Got out for a decent ride yesterday, man I love my bike. Really noticed how great it is, Hums along, literally no vibration, and just a lot of fun. So much fun that I managed to have my kidney belt ripped off my fat ass (didn’t notice until I got home). Not bad for a nearly 20 year old bike with close to 100k. And this is literally after being parked over winter in a ****ty Canadian winter with only fuel stabilizer. Get on and go.

Although I am not American I am very well aware that Mr. Trump literally destroyed the EPA, removed first alert CDC team from China that could have spotted covid19 in time. I can go one for days with all the bad decisions Trump has taken. In the end, go out, forget social distancing but don´t complain when you suffocate on the hospital bed.
