Yeah, I tend to do a few single all day rides in Vt each year.
One of my favorite routes is along the northern VT border. Pretty smooth roads and pretty empty of other vehicles. I'll typically head west from Newport and most times end up in Swanton. And I have been through the gaps along Rt100 many times. Ever been through Groton State Park?

Some of my favorite roads are over in NY around Moriah.
