Hi Guys! Any recommendations for the oil filter for a 2004 R1100S ?
I have been thinking FRAM but....

I've been using Purolator L10241 for years. I don't think anyone makes better filters than Purolator and I can pick them up locally.

Haven't tried their oil filter, but the HiFlo air filter I got appeared exactly like the stock one it was replacing. It's the most affordable of the few aftermarket air filters available for the S. As a cheapskate, once or twice between changes I take out the air filter and spend a few minutes smacking the coarse crap out of the intake side against a smooth, hard surface. I'm always amazed by how much dust, sand and teensy bugs make their way up the air tube and how much the bike seems to breathe more freely, with more midrange grunt. 99.5% placebo effect I'm sure.
