2 different plugs need for twin spark?

saw a post on anothe board that stated two different plugs were spec'd for the different spark plug locations fo the twin spark head...meaning the standard location gets one type and the lower position needs another??? NGK and Bosch to be exact. WTF? any merit to that claim? sound kinda weird to me, but i don't know *****. and hear i was thinking of doubling up on 4 brisk plugs.

Hey Repoe3;

I am not sure on the factory twin-spark setup, but on the SJ setup you do have to use two different spark plugs.

They are different because of the piston clearance, But the factory setup maybe different? Also I know that the heat range of the two plugs are different too, because of the shorter plug!!!!

that makes a lot of sense.

Greetings,

Basically one plug is lazy, as it does not have to work that hard.....

Funny but true.

Cheers,

Robert
