04 Replika Extras
I was just reading on Rob Wijhenke's site that BMW sent a new replika owner an official certificate and a scale model of the bike.
The fellow who posted the message didn't state what year bike he had, but the post was recent. I know BMW did this for owners of the 2003's. Any US Replika owners receive the certificate and model? |

I sure didn't. Would be nice to know if I'm owed something after paying a premium for the machine.

Directly from the web page:
"The 2004 Replika has a number of unique features that distinguish it from the production R 1100 S. It is equipped with a carbon fiber spoiler, powder-coated wheels, carbon fiber cylinder head covers, a rear seat cowl and a 5.5" rear wheel. Each Replika also ships with a special Owner’s Kit including a serialized identification number and certificate of authenticity." I bought mine in June, have not recieved the Owner's kit, and think I have waited long enough... What's up BMW!!! |

Perhaps I should have asked, has any owner of a 2004 Replika received their special owners kit from BMW?

I told him I have a Ducati 996SPS which at time of purchase I got the serilized number with a tag on the triple clamp with the ID number, a set of Termignoni race exhaust and the proper chip for the exhaust. These items came with the bike at the time I picked it up. I am going to call again if I don't get this stuff in a another week or so and I will raise hell. |

Greetings BoxerCup 2003,
You will get your zertificate and goodies as soon as BMW sells em and can afford to pay for the goodies.....hehe! All kidding aside, with the 2003 EXCLUSIVE BoxerCup Replika, where only 150 were made......the owners that purchased them in October got theirs in January...... Good luck with your Replika! Cheers, Robert Foster "BoxerCup"

I bought my 2003 BCR (55/200) on 28 August and the owners kit arrived via FedEx overnight on 10 September. The kit included: a letter from BMW NA (personally addressed, no less), a certificate of authenticity w/ bike number (55/200), a triple clamp plaque (55/200) with mounting template, a lapel pin (55/200), BMW rope keychain, Boxer Cup booklet, and the DVD's in a very neat box. The model is a 1:18 scale job and is complete with YELLOW springs on the shocks! Really cool. The folks at the dealer were (and still are) awesome. The BCR is my sixth BMW, but the first one I purchased new - a real positive experience!
THIS BIKE RULES!

I just received my owners kit including scale model, pin, plaque, keychain and Certificate listing my Replika as # 33 of 300 for 2004. I took delivery of the bike at the end of April 2004. It only took 6 months but it's nice to have.

A question for the British owners of the Boxer Cup Replica.
Anybody who bought in 2002 and 2003, actually received a pack as yet? Regards Paul

04 Replika kit
I was told back in August I would receive mine by the end of Sept. I have not got it as of today but I am calling Tim at BMW again today.
I am glad you guys have gotten yours. What about your sticker kit? Have you gotten those yet? |

I haven't seen the stickers yet. If anyone gets them, they should immediately run to a vinyl sign shop and have numerous copies of them made. I would buy a set or two on EBay if I saw them there.

Received my owners kit yesterday. Includes scale model, pin, plaque, keychain and Certificate listing my Replika as # 134 of 300 for 2004. I took picked up my bike in May 2004. The belly pan stickers and heated grips were arrived and were installed in July, though.

Hello guys,
I'm the owner of BCR. as earlier mentioned, on the site of Rob Wijhenke. I think I have a "2004" model (twin-spark). I received a letter, a certificate (without a serial #) and the scale model. NO triple clamp plaque with mounting template, NO label pin, NO BMW rope keychain, NO Boxer Cup booklet and NO DVD's. I think you are very lucky bastards in the US. I shall complain within the BMW Netherlands. I want it also all!!!!! greetings, Henk

Henk,
You purchased your bike in the Netherlands? I was under the impression the 300 numbered bikes were for the US only, to commemorate the first Boxercup race, at the Daytona Speedway, in the US. Was there supposed to be a similar program for Europe? Marcelo

Received mine in the mail today. Number 128 of 300. Nice little surprise package from BMW.
I almost applied the Boxer cup decal to my trucks rear window, then luckily remember I'm having a truck camper top installed in the bed next week. Applying the sticker would have been a bone head move on my part. Dave
