If there was ever a reason to spend almost $8 for a bike magazine, this is it. The May issue of T.W.O. (Two Wheels Only), the Brit bike magazine, includes a DVD with an abreviated version of the life of Barry Sheene documentary. This has about 20 minutes of very cool footage and interviews with Barry.
I'm a subscriber of T.W.O. 'cause our magazines suck and these guys never cease to amaze me with the content of their mag. At a Borders or Waldenbooks near you...I'm sure. |

I think the DVD is the show made by Australian Ten network and run at the GP last year in the Barry Scheene Memorial display.

I'm watching it now on the PC. Arrived today with my T.W.O. subscription. Also subscribe to the U.K.'s BIKE. Reminds me of the time when BIKE included a CD of great exhaust notes of great bikes.
These two are the finest motorcycle periodicals I've come across -- why I pay the $$$ to subscribe. I continue to marvel at the creative content they come up with. |

Yes I agree with you SFarson - Bike is worth the $. A couple of years ago Bike released a DVD called "The Bike Experience" with video reviews of new bikes and the biking scene. I wish those guys would do this every year! Surely there must be a market for this type of DVD based review.

I am quietly optimistic that we will get the DVD with the magazine. After all a lot of the overseas computer and photographic mags come with various CDs etc.
I can remember getting the CD of bike sounds with BIKE and I am playing it at the appropriae volume when my partner comes home wondering what all the noise is and why I am grinning from ear to ear. Her quiet head shakes spoke volume!!! Cheers TREVOR
