Speedo Calibration and Dyno Run

Well, I am $115 poorer, but I now have definitive info on my speedometer. The overall error is 6.5%

The data are:
Indicated Real(mph)
40 38
50 48
60 57
70 66
80 76
90 85
100 94

The Dyno Run was a freebie. It showed a peak of 84.3 SAE at 95mph. This was a Dynojet. I don't know that model number. I'll post the graphs when I get to a scanner.

My bike is a bone stock 04 R1100S with about 3500 miles.

The Power curve is reasonably smooth (to my eye). The guy who ran it thought it a bit bumpy.

My plan is to leave it as is. I don't see that point. According to Capt. Stimpy, it takes roughly 8 hours to do the job (figure much more for a greenhorn like me). My only other reason for wanting to get in there would be to add a gear indicator or some other thing. This wouldn't necessarly require that much messing around.

The up side is, when you get stopped and you think you were going 100 MPH, you weren't!!

I know, it has happened to me:eek:

71 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, I thought I was doing almost 8O MPH!
