Well, I am $115 poorer, but I now have definitive info on my speedometer. The overall error is 6.5%
The data are: Indicated Real(mph) 40 38 50 48 60 57 70 66 80 76 90 85 100 94 The Dyno Run was a freebie. It showed a peak of 84.3 SAE at 95mph. This was a Dynojet. I don't know that model number. I'll post the graphs when I get to a scanner. My bike is a bone stock 04 R1100S with about 3500 miles. The Power curve is reasonably smooth (to my eye). The guy who ran it thought it a bit bumpy.

My plan is to leave it as is. I don't see that point. According to Capt. Stimpy, it takes roughly 8 hours to do the job (figure much more for a greenhorn like me). My only other reason for wanting to get in there would be to add a gear indicator or some other thing. This wouldn't necessarly require that much messing around.
