Wheel Travel Question

Does anyone know what the wheel travel distance (in inches) is for the rear suspension on a 2005 Boxercup Replika?

looks to be just about enough to smack into your license plate on full compression.

it's also in the service manal. I believe they list rear at 130mm, which should be the same. Don't recall the front. Rear is 50mm shock travel and a 2.6 linkage

Are you sure that's not the spec for the earlier bikes? I recall seeing that same travel spec for a stock '99 S. The later bikes with the sport suspension must have a different spec than that and the '05 is probably longer yet. Anybody have a breakdown of travel specs on all the S models?

No and No, as it turns out

The swingarm is the same, and the later shock travel is the same, and thus the travel is the same. The shocks merely have taller bodies/shafts for additional rideheight/clearance. Travel is the same.
Besides, you certainly wouldn't want longer travel and more pitch for a sportier model. Less, if anything.

I'm not sure about 05s, but it's late in the lifecycle and I seriously doubt it's been moved
