wrist rest options

Has anyone used the different wrist rest products out there. I noticed that the "wrist rest" product itself pivots for adjustment. However, the throttle rocker is available for both grips. Any thoughts? Iam not interested in total cruise control. I just want to be able to alter my grip at times

Do the Throttlemeister...quality, a little pricey, but very nice piece.

I have a Throttlemeister on my S and a Bob's Wrist Rest on my GS. They both work the same, just depends on how you like the looks. Since the Throttlemeister actually looks more sleek and racey what with the left dummie, you may want to go with it for your S.

It's the knurled piece. Actually very nice machine work from billet, but not as sleek as the Throttlemeister. I got mine from Bob's BMW in Maryland.

I'd do the wrist rest probably if I was going to get another set.
At $85, I think the knurled handle is real practical.
The Throttlemeister nice, but the one nitpick I have is that it is hard to adjust with a gloved hand because it DOESN't have the knurling.
Something to think about...

i was gonna say.... i've never had any kind of problem with operating a Throttlemeister, and i always ride with gloves.
but since it turns out you were just doing some hypothetical mental masturbation, i won't make mention at all.

pricey, but the best quality item out there. money comes and goes, but trash stays on your bike to remind you that you were cheap forever.

Hey banana belt brain! WTF?
Seams your the one doin' the masturbatory move here.
I HAVE the Twaddlemeisters and YES, they are nicely finished parts, as I believe I said before...yes before you stepped on your dick in public...
My comment, I will clarify for the ill-read, is to mention, that a bit of knurling might be a good idea...
When you tooling down the super slab it'd be nice to adjusrt the bar-end adjuster with the heel of your hand, rather than completely let off the gas to adjust it.
But maybe that's too involved a though for some...

oh. when you said "i've never tried ONE" you were referring to a knurled Bob's model you'd never tried, not an unknurled Throttlemeister. sorry, should have been able to see that on the unposted picture of your bike, or have your personal knowledge of your own bike's goodies (beyond "stuff"). must be my bad.
btw- you are never supposed to use a pronoun (i.e., "one") that has not already had a clearly stated referrant in a previous sentence. your English teacher would be ashamed of you.
are we done spanking each other yet?

ya got some more pics of the UPS girl that delivers the Wrist Rests we been debating about?? that would almost be on topic, eh?
of course, going back to Kenmat's original question- the slip on shelf type wrist rest is cheap (about $10), simple to operate (you just lean your wrist against it while riding) and helpful (does remove some strain and tension on your wrist). downsides are- it's no different than stock when you remove your hand, it looks kinda cheap & weird, and it can take a bit to get used to. rottenbiker likes hers, but i don't really.

I use the original Throttle Rocker on all my bikes, even those with a Throttlemeister. The T/M is nice on the superslab but otherwise pretty useless whereas the T/R takes pressure off my hands all the time.

Throttle Rocker. (I like the look of the stick black barends actually) I take it off for commuting and leave the little rubber band on. It stays in my pocket if I need it, right next to my tire pressure gauge. I just don't like the idea that the 'meister is a cruise control rather than a rest.

bkpntr: An 82 Morini, eh? nice!

Oh...well maybe that's not so bad. I have visions of you folks up north holed up in a blizzard under 20 feet of snow with a nasty case of mid-winter blues. Just thought warm weather outside would help. But 60 is great. Matter of fact it's 25 this morning in Georgia. It'll be in the 50's this afternoon, but pretty brutal right now
