Laguna Seca MotoGP Meetup - where and when

Sounds like there'll be a crew of us at the MotoGP. I'll be at Laguna for the whole weekend, arriving Friday night and leaving Monday morning. I'm riding my brother's VTR down from Sacramento. We should have at least one mass meeting over beers Saturday. Anyone want to propose a time and place?

BMW Roundel

There's an English Pub downtown Salinas that serves good oyster shots. Beer there is good too.

Nobody staying in Monterey is going to want to ride to Salinas to drink and ride back...well maybe some will.

Best bet is pick a place down on the row or close by.
Sat nite we usually do the fish&chips at the joint one block don from the McFly's intersection. It's really packed but ahppenin' fer shure...

How's about we meet outside Bubba Gumps at a certain time frame (i.e. 20 minutes span) and then decide where to go?

Cannery is going to be thumpin'!!

I'm thinking we should meet Saturday night after dinner somewhere near Cannery Row for beers and then shuffle on down to watch the antics. There'll probably be to many of us to manage dinner without onerous logistics. How 'bout meet at 9:00PM somewhere near, BS and then head out at 10:00PM. Does someone have a front porch near Cannery Row reserved that they'd be willing to offer up? Not much risk to life and limb. Jesus, we ride bimmers not Harleys after all. I'll not be riding after coctails so the meet needs to be near the festivities. I'm not sure where my hotel is yet. My brother made all the arrangements but I think it's pretty far from Cannery Row. Very unlikely that it's suitable or I'd be offering it up now.

hey pwillikers; 1431 from the freeway to marble falls used to be my favorite ride when I lived in Killeen. It's Laguna/Fox Hill roughing it for me, but I'm sure we'll be in town for the antics Sat. nite. Take a cellphone...

We might want to aim for a little earlier. Could be different this year, but things started to thin out bike wise between 9 and 10. It is also nice to have some light while surveying the sights. If the goal is to watch the partiers, latter is better.

I'll be at Fox Hill on my red S along with a Triumph Sprint ST and an Aprilia Futura. I suggest sometime earlier Saturday as well; the evening hours get kinda crazy. With all the atmosphere at the track for a geennn--u-iiine MotoGP, we might be staying putthere with a couple (dozen) of beers. I might want to pack a few away and I don't ride after drinking *it hurts too much*
cellphones?

Anyone with local knowledge willing to suggest a firm time and place where those with interest might assemble? I hit the road for Laguna Seca tomorrow (CA via UT, NV, etc.) early, early...

Mine will be a silver S with a terrific flat spot worn into the Pilot Roads from crossing the desert...

Hope to see some of you there.
