Rides near Nipomo

I just moved to Nipomo, CA. Anyone have any reccomendations for roads here? Something closer than the crest maybe?

I live in Arroyo Grande. You have excellent rides nearby. 154 to Bakersfield, the backroads of the vineyards of Paso Robles, Old Creek Road out of Morro Bay, and locally Husana Road back to
Lake Lopez. This is a great area to ride!

There's a club in San Luis that rides out of the Honda dealership, hook up with them. The have a local ride every week and will certainly show you the back roads.

You need to go out to the Pozo Saloon on a sunday afternoon, they have great food and good music, and it's usually all local bikers. Also the Cold Creek Saloon and the backroads to Santa Barbara!

Welcome to the neighborhood.
First its Jockos for lunch, Steak Sandwitch,the best, then its a ride for you.
Here is two local rides starting on Teft street.

1.) Teft E,-Thompson Rd-166E, 4 miles to Bull Canyon South-Suey rd left-Main street left-follow rd to betteria rd, left- just before Garey,(5 houses and store), left on to Santa Maria Mesa rd-Follow through to Tepusquet Rd.-166, left-home.
Watch for the down hill part on Tepusquet lots of nasty sand. The other side is all new road.

2.Teft to Orchard Rd.-left-at the 'Y' right to Division st.- down hill to Oso Flaco Lake Rd. right-hwy1-right-follow up the messa down the hill until you hit valley Rd- right- Los Berros Rd right-Pomeroy rd-Right, home.

If you want TV coverage, try speedvision, that'd be the only racing coverage locally.......try the Santa Maria Speedway on Saturday night for midget and late model dirt track circle racing,
a hunderd miles north is Laguna Seca where you can do motorcycle track days with Pridmore, Nicky likes that place a lot!

Whew. Got back in town about 20 minutes before having to go to work today. That sucks, but everyone made it today.

thanks for explaining the pic of Robs girlfriend (really?) and that it's not Cyndy. I thought you may have put ExarKunONe up to that. Sorry.
What weekend are you thinking for Yosemite? I have a couple of back to back 4 day weekends (Sat-Tue) starting the last weekend in July but I can always stretch out a regular weekend a little. Lemme know.

By the way, this is Cyndy travelling back from Thunderhill track day on the 505 somewhere up there.
(Avoid the whole fitment problem with a full face helmet).

Tony,
for someone who pushes tin in the air "everyone made it today" is a very good thing.
Maybe my since of humor is rubbing off on you,(oh god say it not so).
BTW, I would never give your charming wife a bad time because I,as well as others, know what she has to put up with,(just kidding

).
I just talked to Motoyoyo and he may be up for going to see Bingo as well.
He said that he will get ahold of John Lyon and see if he wants to go.
Brad is stuck with the new house and his job so he will not be able to go,(he will be missed),But he wants everyone to send him a willow tree for a house warming gift.

I'll get in contact with you within the next few days and sort things out.
As for the rides up here.......I will not host another big open ride up here anymore but will get small groups together at times.
