Best open faced helmet

Hmm...I'm thinking lightweight, visor, not 3 inches thick but not a hurley skullcap either...

all joking aside, I've really NEEDED a helmet twice in 35 years on the street, and both times it was an Arai full-face, and BOTH times the chinbar took a MASSIVE hit; without it I'd be even uglier than I am already!

I occasionally balance comfort with safety and wear a HJC 3/4. For $100, I think it is more comfortable than the expensive Arai that it replaced. With the recent information about DOT vs. Snell and the good performane of lower-priced helmets, I think we're at the point where if you can find a comfortable HJC or Z1R helmet at one of the lower price points, buying the Shoei or Arai is a waste of money.

I have a System4, but since I've bought an integral Arai, I don't use it anymore.
