Airbox input pipe
I recently took a close look at the airbox feeding pipe. I was astounded to see how sharp and how narrow the last bend is. For the fun of it I removed it (both the feeding pipe and the top of the air-filter housing, but not the air-filter retainer). Initial feedback seems to be some significant increase in top end power and in induction noise. There also seems to be a slightly weaker midrange, although this may be only an impression due to the increased top end.
Any one has any experience in this area? PL |

Philip,
This is a subject already under discussion. Have a look at my posting 'How long is yours' There is some interesting information but no conclusive evidence. See what you make of the info: Regards |
